Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is a technology that automates interactions with standard telephone systems and your computer database simply by utilizing a telephone. Enterprises are increasingly turning to IVR to reduce the cost of collecting data and providing real-time information with little or no human intervention.
Work Order Check-In
When a technician arrives at the work location, they call an 800 number from a work location phone and check-in to the work order.
Work Order Check-Out
Prior to leaving, they call the 800 number again and check-out of the work order. Duration of visit is captured along with Caller ID number. This ensures technician was on site and the work was completed.
